Like my cousin Mary, I am also a 'maker of things'. Today I am posting pictures of some holiday projects; baby shoes for Nicholas Hatmaker,

and a bracelet... for someone old enough that I should really keep the surprise!

Since I originally began this to share pictures, I've been wanting to post some pics of Savannah, so these are the first.

While blogs have their place in the world of creativity, they've become an unfortunate fad. I disike people who maintain blogs like diaries for everyone in the world to see, thinking that it makes them a 'creative' person without any effort. So i have never blogged.

I am however in college now, and am having trouble keeping up with the list of people who want to keep up with me. I also can't send as many pictures in one e-mail as i would like, so this blog is the unfortunate answer. I don't plan to proofread or spellcheck; I plan to post pictures, and art, and every once in a while, a word or two about what I'm doing.

I have also begun to gear things toward a professional website, because I know I'll need one eventually. So I want to begin an aesthetic... Further, I'm sorry that the other blog quit on me and now you all have a new address to keep up with. Feel free to trash the old one.
